Camden Central Lions Varsity Outhits Competition, Yet Lewis Co Gets the Win  7 to 6

Camden Central Lions Varsity fell 7-6 to Lewis County on Monday despite out-hitting them 12 to seven.  Despite the loss, Camden Central Lions Varsity did collect 12 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Lewis County had seven hits on the way to victory.

In the first inning, Camden Central Lions Varsity got their offense started.  Camden Central Lions Varsity scored one run when Logan Deaton singled.  Lewis County pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Zac Benson homered on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs, an error scored one run for Lewis County, and Denton Webb singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.  Slade Mosley was on the mound for Lewis County. He allowed ten hits and five runs over three innings, striking out five and walking one.  Jace Riley was on the pitcher's mound for Camden Central Lions Varsity. He went six innings, allowing seven runs on seven hits and striking out seven.

Camden Central Lions Varsity scattered 12 hits in the game.  Matt BlowRileyDeaton, and Brennan Smith all managed multiple hits for Camden Central Lions Varsity.  SmithDeatonRiley, and Blow each collected two hits to lead Camden Central Lions Varsity.

Lewis County totaled seven hits in the game.  Webb and Mosley each racked up multiple hits for Lewis County.  Webb went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Lewis County in hits.

Camden Central Lions Varsity Defeats Fairview in High Scoring Game 10 to 6

Bats were blistered as Camden Central Lions Varsity defeated Fairview 10-6 on Monday.  Fairview opened up scoring in the first inning. Fairview scored three runs when Brackeen homered.  Camden Central Lions Varsity took the lead for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Heath Daniel doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run and Matt Blow doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs.

Camden Central Lions Varsity tallied three runs in the sixth inning.  Blow and Dalton Story all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.  Max Wardlaw earned the win for Camden Central Lions Varsity. He allowed six hits and six runs over five innings, striking out five.  Daniel threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Daniel recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Camden Central Lions Varsity.

McCormick took the loss for Fairview. He lasted two and two-thirds innings, allowing four hits and three runs while walking zero.

Hall started the game for Fairview. Early Lead For Lewis County Seals Fate For Camden Central Lions Varsity 0 to 3

Camden Central Lions Varsity fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 3-0 loss to Lewis County on Friday. Lewis County took the lead on a groundout in the first inning.  The pitching was strong on both sides. Lewis County pitchers struck out nine, while Camden Central Lions Varsity sat down four.  In the first inning, Lewis County got their offense started when Mikey Ortiz grounded out, scoring two runs.

A single by Brennan Smith in the second inning was a positive for Camden Central Lions Varsity.  Cameron Cotham was credited with the victory for Lewis County. He went seven innings, allowing zero runs on two hits and striking out nine.  Evan Sharpe took the loss for Camden Central Lions Varsity. He surrendered three runs on six hits over six innings, striking out four and walking zero.  Smith and Quentin Wilson each managed one hit to lead Camden Central Lions Varsity.  Lewis County didn't commit a single error in the field. Denton Webb had the most chances in the field with nine.

Camden Central Varsity Shuts Out Fairview , Riley Gets The Shutout, 6 to 0

Jace Riley threw a shutout to lead Camden Central Lions Varsity past Fairview 6-0 on Thursday.  Camden Central Lions Varsity put up three runs in the sixth inning. The offensive firepower by Camden Central Lions Varsity was led by Riley and Heath Daniel, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.  One bright spot for Fairview was a single by Brackeen in the second inning.  Riley was the winning pitcher for Camden Central Lions Varsity. He surrendered zero runs on four hits over seven innings, striking out four and walking one.  Johnson took the loss for Fairview. He surrendered three runs on six hits over five innings, striking out four and walking one.  Camden Central Lions Varsity racked up seven hits on the day.  Riley and Daniel each collected multiple hits for Camden Central Lions Varsity.  Daniel and Riley each collected two hits to lead Camden Central Lions Varsity.  Riley led Camden Central Lions Varsity with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with seven stolen bases.  Camden Central Lions Varsity was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Matt Blow made the most plays with five.

McEwen Captures Lead Early To Defeat Camden 11 to 6

Camden Central Lions Varsity fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 11-6 loss to McEwen on Tuesday. McEwen scored on a double, a single, a groundout, all in the first inning and a single and a home run in the second inning.  Despite the loss, Camden Central Lions Varsity did collect nine hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, McEwen had 11 hits on the way to victory.  After Camden Central Lions Varsity scored one run in the top of the third, McEwen answered with one of their own.  Camden Central Lions Varsity scored when Logan Deaton's sac fly scored one run for Camden Central Lions Varsity. McEwen then answered when McEwen scored one run on a stolen base.

Camden Central Lions Varsity notched three runs in the sixth inning. The rally was led by a single by Quentin Wilson and a double by Jace Riley.  McEwen scored four runs in the second inning.   Max Wardlaw led things off on the mound for Camden Central Lions Varsity. Camden Central Lions Varsity Goes 8 Innings And Drops Game 8 to 6 After Late Score

Monday's game against Huntingdon was a heartbreaker for Camden Central Lions Varsity, as they lost the lead late in an 8-6 defeat. The game was tied at four with Huntingdon batting in the top of the eighth when Huntingdon homered on a 2-0 count, scoring four runs.   Despite the loss, Camden Central Lions Varsity did collect 11 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Huntingdon had eight hits on the way to victory.

Huntingdon got things started in the second inning with a double on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.  Jace Riley was on the pitcher's mound for Camden Central Lions Varsity. Camden Central Lions Varsity fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 5-0 loss to Westview on Friday. Westview scored on a single in the first inning, a double in the second inning, a single in the second inning, and a double in the second inning.  In the first inning, Westview got their offense started. Westview scored one run with a single. A single by Jace Riley in the first inning was a positive for Camden Central Lions Varsity.  Evan Sharpe led things off on the pitcher's mound for Camden Central Lions Varsity. Camden Central Lions Varsity cruised to an easy victory over Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central 11-4 on Tuesday  Camden Central Lions Varsity got things started in the first inning.  Camden Central Lions Varsity scored one run on a stolen base.  Jace Riley was credited with the victory for Camden Central Lions Varsity. He allowed four hits and two runs over four innings, striking out five and walking one.  Heath Daniel and Evan Sharpe entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.  Frye took the loss for Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central. He lasted seven innings, allowing nine hits and 11 runs while striking out seven.  Camden Central Lions Varsity racked up nine hits on the day.  Matt BlowDaniel, and Brennan Smith each managed multiple hits for Camden Central Lions Varsity.  SmithDaniel, and Blow each collected two hits to lead Camden Central Lions Varsity.  Camden Central Lions Varsity tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Riley led the way with four.

Pitchers Duel In Low-Scoring Affair, Camden Central Lions Varsity Falls To Stewart County  Both teams were strong on the pitcher's mound on Tuesday, but Stewart County was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Camden Central Lions Varsity on Tuesday. Evan Sharpe started the game for Camden Central Lions Varsity and recorded 18 outs.  A single by Heath Daniel in the first inning was a positive for Camden Central Lions Varsity.  Donahue toed the rubber for Stewart County. Camden Central Lions Varsity snatched the lead late in the game in a 7-5 victory over Stewart County on Monday.  Camden Central Lions Varsity was down 5-4 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Dalton Story homered on a 2-1 count, scoring three runs. Stewart County got things moving in the second inning, when. Camden Central Lions Varsity knotted the game up at four in the bottom of the fifth inning, when Matt Blow doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.  Camden Central Lions Varsity scored four runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught came from doubles by Jace RileyHeath Daniel, and Blow.  Riley pitched Camden Central Lions Varsity to victory. He lasted seven innings, allowing seven hits and five runs while striking out five.  Crain took the loss for Stewart County. He allowed eight hits and seven runs over six innings, striking out six  Camden Central Lions Varsity tallied one home run on the day. Story went for the long ball in the sixth inning.

Both Camden Central Lions Varsity and Dresden had their offenses going on Thursday, but Camden Central Lions Varsity eventually prevailed 19-6.  Camden Central Lions Varsity secured the victory thanks to 11 runs in the fifth inning. The rally was led by singles by Matt BlowLogan DeatonBrennan SmithQuentin Wilson, and Dalton Story and a double by Darius Porter.  Camden Central Lions Varsity got things started in the first inning.  Blow drove in two when he doubled.  Camden Central Lions Varsity tallied 11 runs in the fifth inning.  BlowDeatonSmithWilsonStory, and  Porter all drove in runs in the frame.  Dresden scored three runs in the second inning. Dresden's big inning was driven by a single by Crawford and an error on a ball put in play by Lockhart.  Max Wardlaw got the win for Camden Central Lions Varsity. He surrendered six runs on three hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out two.  Blow threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.  Young took the loss for Dresden. He allowed 17 hits and 18 runs over four and a third innings, striking out one and walking one.  Camden Central Lions Varsity racked up 19 hits.  BlowHeath DanielSmithJace RileyStory, and Deaton each had multiple hits for Camden Central Lions Varsity.  SmithDaniel, and Blow each collected three hits to lead Camden Central Lions Varsity.

Camden Central Lions Varsity stayed in it until the end, but Riverside pulled away late in a 15-9 victory on Thursday. The game was tied at nine with Riverside batting in the top of the seventh when Bowman doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.  Despite the loss, Camden Central Lions Varsity did collect eight hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Riverside had 19 hits on the way to victory.

Camden Central Lions Varsity Grabs Lead In Seventh Inning To Defeat McKenzie 12 to 4

Camden Central Lions Varsity snatched the lead late in the game in a 12-4 victory over McKenzie on Friday. The game was tied at four with Camden Central Lions Varsity batting in the top of the seventh when Jace Riley hit a solo homer.  Camden Central Lions Varsity secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the seventh inning. RileyQuentin WilsonDalton StoryDarius PorterRiley, and  Heath Daniel all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.  McKenzie got things moving in the first inning, after singling on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, McKenzie tied things up at four.  McKenzie tripled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.  Riley took the win for Camden Central Lions Varsity. He allowed six hits and two runs over four innings, striking out four and walking one.

Evan Sharpe started the game for Camden Central Lions Varsity. He lasted three innings, allowing six hits and two runs while striking out six and walking one   Camden Central Lions Varsity hit one home run on the day. Riley went deep in the seventh inning.  Camden Central Lions Varsity had nine hits in the game.  RileyDaniel, and Brennan Smith all had multiple hits for Camden Central Lions Varsity.  SmithDaniel, and Riley each collected two hits to lead Camden Central Lions Varsity.  Camden Central Lions Varsity was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Matt Blow made the most plays with 12. Offensively, the Lions were led by Jace Riley who went 2-5 with his first career HR. Camden baseball wins their second in a row!   Final score Camden 4, McEwen 2.  Wardlaw goes the distance on the mound going 7 adding 5Ks.  Offensively, Matt Blow led the way w 2 hits. Jace Riley added 2 RBI.

Camden JV makes it a clean sweep tonight with a 2-0 win over McEwen. Jace Williams gets the W on the mound and Kaleb Bell drives in both runs for the JV Lions.

Jace Riley threw a shutout to lead Camden Central Lions Varsity past East Hickman County 10-0 on Tuesday.  Camden Central Lions Varsity secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the fifth inning. Camden Central Lions Varsity's offense in the inning came from singles by Logan DeatonEvan SharpeMax Wardlaw, and Heath Daniel, by Riley, and a double by Matt Blow.   The offensive firepower by Camden Central Lions Varsity was led by BlowDeatonSharpeWardlawRiley, and Daniel, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.  A single by Shaver in the fourth inning was a positive for East Hickman County.   Riley was on the mound for Camden Central Lions Varsity. He went five innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out seven and walking zero.  Johnson started the game for East Hickman County. He went three and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on two hits and striking out five.  Davis threw two-thirds of an inning out of the bullpen.  Camden Central Lions Varsity totaled eight hits.  Deaton and Blow each collected two hits to lead Camden Central Lions Varsity.  Shaver went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead East Hickman County in hits.

Camden Central Lions Varsity Loses Another Close One 4 to 1

Monday's game against Lewis County was a heartbreaker for Camden Central Lions Varsity, as they lost the lead late in a 4-1 defeat. The game was tied at one with Lewis County batting in the bottom of the sixth when Ethan Lindsey drew a walk, scoring one run.  Lewis County fired up the offense in the first inning, when Denton Webb doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.  In the top of the fifth inning, Camden Central Lions Varsity tied things up at one when Matt Blow singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.  Cameron Cotham took the win for Lewis County. He surrendered one run on three hits over seven innings, striking out 15.  Evan Sharpe took the loss for Camden Central Lions Varsity. He allowed five hits and four runs over six innings, striking out 11.  Dalton StoryBlow, and Jace Riley each collected one hit to lead Camden Central Lions Varsity.  Camden Central Lions Varsity was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Blow had the most chances in the field with 11.

Camden Central Lions Varsity Falls Short In TN River Classic To Hardin County 14 to 2

Camden Central Lions Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 14-2 loss to Hardin County on Tuesday. Hardin County scored on a single, a walk, a single an passed ball, and an error in the first inning. The Camden Central Lions Varsity struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Hardin County, giving up 14 runs. Max Wardlaw started the game for Camden Central Lions Varsity. He surrendered 12 runs on six hits over three innings.  Matt Blow threw two innings out of the bullpen. Blow and Jace Riley each collected one hit to lead Camden Central Lions Varsity.  Hardin County collected 11 hits on the day.

Camden Central Lions Varsity Claws Back, But Falls Just Short Against Lenoir City 7 to 5

Camden Central Lions Varsity's effort to come back from down six runs in the fourth inning came up just short, as they fell 7-5 to Lenoir City on Monday.  Camden Central Lions Varsity scored four runs in the failed comeback on a single by Heath Daniel and a double by Matt Blow.

Camden Central Lions Varsity opened up scoring in the first inning, when Daniel singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. Lenoir City pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Lenoir City drew a walk, scoring one run and Lenoir City doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring three runs. Camden Central Lions Varsity scored four runs in the fourth inning.  Camden Central Lions Varsity's big inning was driven by a single by Daniel and a double by Blow.

Evan Sharpe led things off on the mound for Camden Central Lions Varsity. He lasted two innings, allowing one hit and four runs while striking out two.  Jace Riley threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen. Daniel went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Camden Central Lions Varsity in hits.
